Clinton Arrow Swim Team head coach Eddie Ware was named as the National Federation of High Schools 2016 Boys Swimming & Diving Coach of the Year for Mississippi.
“Coach Ware is incredibly valuable to our athletic staff,” Athletic Director Dr. Clay Norton said. “He holds his swimmers to high standards giving Clinton Swimming a competitive reputation.”
Ware has taken both his boys and girls teams to multiple state championship meets.
“We are certainly excited for Coach Ware,” Norton added, “and proud that he represents Clinton.”
This past year, the Clinton Boys team finished third in the state. Senior Blaise Vera, who recently signed a letter of intent to swim with Pitt Swimming & Diving, broke two of his own state records.
