As one of the cogs in three of the Arrows’ relay teams, Robbins has helped set new records and helped lead the Arrows Boys team to their first North State Championship.
On April 28, Robbins signed a letter of intent with Hinds Community College to sprint for the Eagles.
“I’m excited because most people don’t get the opportunity to run on the next level,” Robbins said, “and I can’t wait to work hard and see how far I can go.”
Robbins set a personal best 49.79 seconds in the 400m dash, and is ranked eighth in the state.
Robbins is also part of the 4x200m, 4x400m and 4x800m relay teams.
This June, Robbins and the Arrows 4x200m relay team will run in the New Balance Outdoor National Meet in North Carolina.
Robbins will join fellow Arrow sprinter Brian Trunell at Hinds.
Antonio Robbins is the son of Tony and Donyale Robbins.
