Determination and loyalty are characteristics a player strives to obtain, but when a school shows those characteristics, it makes it easy for a football player to find a home.
On March 7, WR Braxton Davis signed a letter of intent to play football at Rhodes College in Memphis, Tenn.
“Rhodes is a great place for academics,” Davis said. “Their campus is beautiful, and the team is really family oriented, and that’s something that really appealed to me. I know I’ll be able to develop as a teammate and learn new leadership skills there.”
As a member of the Arrow Football team, Braxton racked up 227 career yards and 18 receptions, scoring one touchdown his senior year.
Davis was also a member of the 2016 MHSAA 6A State football championship team.
Braxton is a member of the National Honor Society, the 30 Plus Club and Mu Alpha Theta. He was also named as the Beyond Horizons: UMMC Recognition Scholarship and Achievement Awardee
Braxton Davis is the son of Nicholas Davis.
