Senior leadership can be shown in many ways, and Clinton Volleyball’s Brandi Macon shows her leadership through being a quality team player.
On Friday, March 9, Brandi Macon signed a letter of intent with Tougaloo College to play Volleyball for the Lady Bulldogs in Jackson, Miss.
“I really like the coach and the program that’s in place,” Macon said. “The team is great, and so is the campus. I feel like I can progress as a player there, which will be great.”
Macon’s career showed impressive stats, racking up 153 career kills, 22 blocks and 94 digs.
“Brandi is a joy to coach. She is the definition of a team player,” Clinton Volleyball head coach Melissa Denson said. “Through the years, she’s had to step into multiple positions to help our team be successful. She took each role and worked hard to be beneficial on the court.”
Denson added, “She is the first to encourage others and sets high expectations for herself and our underclassman. She’s going to do great things at Tougaloo. I can’t wait to see what her future brings.”
Brandi was a member of the CHS Arrow Court all three years of her high school career and was voted as Arrow Court Princess her senior year.
She is a member of Mu Alpha Theta and was voted as a senior class favorite in this year’s Who’s Who.
Brandi Macon is the daughter Tonia Williams and Tony Macon.
