The Clinton Cross Country teams competed in the Madison Central Cross Country meet on Saturday, Oct. 13.
The Clinton Boys XC team finished fifth out of 17 teams, and the Clinton Girls XC team finished sixth out of 14 teams.
Senior Jordan Shannon finished first for the Arrows and 18th overall (17:50.33).
Wrapping up the top three finishers for the Arrows were juniors Evan Carite (18:54.49) and Martinez Bogan (19:07.61).
Junior Shelby Dean finished first for the Lady Arrows and 15th overall (22:01.55). Eighth grader Evelyn Mata-O’Dwyer (23:08.28) and senior Hannah Derrick (23:17.67) rounded out the top three finishers for the Lady Arrows.
The Boys and Girls Cross Country teams are back in action as they compete in the JPS XC Challenge on Oct. 18 at Choctaw Trails.
