SOCCER: Arrow Boys & Girls Soccer Teams Defeat Pearl on the Road

Clinton’s Girls and Boys Soccer teams brought home two wins Tuesday night after traveling to Pearl to take on the Lady Pirates and the Pirates.

The Lady Arrows topped the Lady Pirates 3-1, and the Arrows defeated the Pirates 3-0.

The Lady Arrows (3-0) started off slow on the road, but found the back of the net near the middle of the first half.

Clinton went into the half with at 2-0 lead but gave up a goal early in the second half. The Lady Arrows answered back with a goal of their own, closing out the match 3-1.

Goal scorers for the Lady Arrows were Tailynn Remmel, Jakiya Michael and Kaci Craft.

Camille Bohannon, Cameron Gladney and Anna Grace Carter collected assists on the night.

Lady Arrows will host the Gulfport Lady Admirals at 4:30 PM on Friday, Nov. 15 at Arrow Field. This match will also be Live Streamed at

The Lady Arrows will travel to Oxford on Saturday, Nov. 17 to face DeSoto Central and Oxford High School.

The Arrows soccer team (3-1) possessed the ball well in the first half against the Pearl Pirates but couldn’t make any connections on the scoring end of the field, closing out the first scoreless.

The Arrows attacked the second half with a vengeance, scoring three unanswered goals on the Pirates and winning the match 3-0.

Goal scorers for the Arrows were Miles Sims (2) and Nathan Thomas.

Luke Bryant and Jarren Hoskins had assists for the Arrows.

The Clinton Boys will also travel to Oxford on Saturday, Nov. 17 to face DeSoto Central and Oxford High School.
