BASKETBALL: Arrows Defeat Columbus in River City Challenge

On Monday, Nov. 19, the Clinton Arrow Basketball team competed in the River City Challenge hosted by Warren Central High School in Vicksburg. 

Arrows 54, Columbus 44

The Arrows took care of business on the hardwood against the Columbus Falcons, coming home with a 54-44 win. The Arrows move to 3-2 on the season with the win.

Clinton scored first, going wire-to-wire, never conceding the lead throughout the entire game.

Senior Guard Xyshan Jenkins was named the Magnolia Hoops Player of the Game with 23 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists.

The Clinton Arrows, along with the Lady Arrows (4-1), travel back to Vicksburg on Tuesday where they take on the Vicksburg Gators.

The Lady Arrows tip-off at 1:00 PM, and the Arrows are scheduled for 2:30 PM.
