The Clinton Arrow Kingpins and Lady Kingpins started off 2019 looking to continue their quest in defending their State Champion title by taking on two strong teams on the road.

Kingpins Down Madison, Lady Kingpins Drop First Match
On Tuesday, Jan. 8, Clinton traveled to Fannin Lanes in Brandon to take on the Madison Central Jaguars.
The Arrow Kingpins took down the Jags 4-2 with Matt Brown scoring a 195 on the day. The Lady Arrows fell to Madison 4-2 during a tough match up. Lecia Grimmett scored a 203 for the Lady Arrows during their first defeat of the season.
Arrow Boys & Girls Topple Tupelo
On Friday, Jan. 11, the Arrows traveled north to take on the Tupelo Golden Wave.
The Kingpins defeated Tupelo 5-1, staying perfect on the season.
The Lady Kingpins answered back from their loss with a vengeance, blanking Tupelo 6-0 with Grimmitt bowling a 200 on the road.
A Look Ahead
The Arrow Kingpins and Lady Kingpins return home on Thursday when they host the Brandon Bulldogs.
The first home match of 2019 begins at 3:30 PM at Indian Lanes in Clinton.
