
The Clinton Arrows (17-9; 4-2) and Lady Arrows (18-8; 4-2) are down to their final scheduled game of the season when they host Vicksburg on Tuesday, Feb. 5.
Both teams are on a successful roll with the Lady Arrows winning four out of the last five games and the Arrows winning six of the last seven.
Though Tuesday closes out the regular season, the focus is on the Regional Tournament that will be hosted at CHS.
Lady Arrows 60, Provine 43
The Lady Arrows faced Provine on Friday, Feb. 1 and defeated the Lady Rams by 17 points.
Junior JaKayla Johnson wrangled in 16 points. Kim McBride racked up 14 points and senior Summer Johnson scored 12 points.
Arrows 58, Provine 59
The last time the Arrows and the Rams met, Clinton routed Provine 84-58. On Friday, the game was much closer.
Provine inched out Clinton by a point in a very tight game on the road.
A Look Ahead
Clinton will host Vicksburg on Tuesday, Feb. 5 in the CHS Gymnasium to close out their regular seasons.
Clinton will also host the Regional Tournament on Tuesday, Feb. 12 and Friday, Feb. 15.
Provine, Warren Central, Greenville and Clinton will face off for a chance to move on towards the State Tournament held in Jackson at the Mississippi Coliseum.
