The old adage says defense wins championships, and Clinton’s Morgan Ray has reason enough to agree with that statement.
The All-Star Blocker has been a key ingredient for the Lady Arrows, and she is certain to be a feature for Itawamba Community College’s inaugural volleyball team in the fall of 2020.
On Friday, November 15, Morgan Ray signed a letter of intent to play for coach Priscilla Morgan’s Lady Indians Volleyball team.

Morgan was named to the 2019 MAC All-Star Game in August.
Her efforts on the court her junior year earned her the Lady Arrows Blocking award.
Those efforts spilled over to her senior year where she helped the Lady Arrows bring home their first MHSAA 6A Volleyball State Championship.
Ray plays club volleyball for Infinity Volleyball Academy and is member of Clinton High School’s FCA Core Team.
Morgan Ray is the daughter of Tammy Hatten and Brett Hatten.
