Clinton Arrow Track and Field has become synonymous with championships as well as sending elite sprinters to the collegiate level.
Ole Miss Track is the most recent school benefiting from the elite talent at Clinton High School.
On Monday, December 16, sprinter Olivia Womack signed a letter of intent to sprint for the University of Mississippi.
Womack, a four-year member of the Clinton Lady Arrow Track and Field team, is no stranger to big stages and big expectations.
She played a major roll in defending the Lady Arrows’ MHSAA 6A State Championships over the previous three years, racking up District, Region and State titles in the 100m and 200m dashes.
Womack placed 1st in the 100m dash at the MHSAA State Meet and 2nd in the 200m dash.
She’s a three-time New Balance National Qualifier and was a Junior Olympian in 2018.
Womack is also a member of the History Club at CHS as well as the Jack & Jill Club of America and the Beta club.
