Lady Arrows Soccer Wins North State over Tupelo 2-0

Tuesday night’s 2-0 win over Tupelo secured the North State Championship title and has catapulted the Lady Arrows (17-2-2) to the MHSAA 6A State Championship where they will face South State winners Gulfport (20-0-4).

The Lady Arrows took Tuesday night’s game under their control early in the first half after a Jada Jelks cross found the head of Kaci Craft, sending the Lady Arrows up 1-0.

Jada Jelks extended the Lady Arrows’ lead 2-0 after long distance shot made its way over the head of the Tupelo keeper.

Eighth grade GK Sarah Polk was stellar in the box, keeping a clean sheet throughout the evening.

The Lady Arrows will face Gulfport on the pitch for the MHSAA 6A State Championship this Saturday at Ridgeland High School. The match starts at 4:00 P.M. and tickets are $10.
