A solid back line on the pitch can make or break a team, and solid center back gives life to a defensive scheme.
The Lady Arrows’ Hollyn Oswalt is that center back, and now she will continue her soccer career beyond high school.
Hollyn Oswalt signed a letter of intent to play soccer for Holmes Community College.
Oswalt, a three-year starter, played a key role in the Lady Arrows’ trip to the MHSAA 6A State Championship her junior year, anchoring the back line.
Selected as best defensive player during the 2019/2020 season, she will wear a captain armband for the second year heading into her senior year.
Off the pitch, Oswalt is a member of the National Honor Society, S.A.D.D., Anchor Club, First Priority and FCA.
She is the daughter of Christi Oswalt and Edward Oswalt.
